W: I want to buy the latest book by Harriot Braun.
M: You mean Follow Your Own Trail?
W: Yes, that’s the book.
M: Sorry. We don’t have any copies left at the moment.
W: I can’t believe it. It just came out three weeks ago.
M: The book is so popular that it sold out very quickly. Do you want me to find out if any of our other stores has a copy?
W: Yes, please. I really need to buy one for my book club meeting tomorrow. Could you check the store downtown? It’s on my way home.
M: Certainly. Let me look it up in our system. [Typing sound] Oh, there’s one copy left there, but unfortunately we can’t hold it for you.
