A: Are you ready for the forest volunteer day next Saturday? B: Almost. What exactly will we do on the hill? A: We'll collect litter and plant some young pines. Don't forget to borrow work gloves from our homeroom teacher. B: Thanks. In my opinion, we should keep the cans and bottles apart from the other litter so that they can be recycled. A: That's sensible. I'll ask the organizers for extra bags. Don't forget to rub on sunscreen, too, because there is little shade up there. B: All right. In my opinion, we should water the young pines right after we plant them. A: I agree. Let's carry two big bottles of water up the hill. B: Perfect. See you by the front entrance of the gym at nine.

'~이 없다면'의 without + 명사(Without …, … would …)와 one of the + 최상급 + 복수 명사(one of the simplest gifts)를 한 번 이상씩 쓰세요.

In my opinion, our school should stop removing every fallen leaf from its flower beds in autumn. A blanket of leaves is one of the simplest gifts that we can give to the soil. As the leaves break down, they can feed small creatures underground and help the ground stay moist during dry weeks. Without the tall oaks around our playground, we would have no such blanket to offer. Right now, however, the janitors spend hours raking the beds bare. Of course, wet leaves on walkways can be slippery, so those areas should still be swept. Our science club could make a little notice explaining why the leaves stay. In the end, one of the best lessons a school can teach is to let nature do some of the labor.
