A: Do you mind if I come to your house on Saturday so that we can finish our slides together?
B: Not at all. My grandmother will be home, but she usually reads in her room in the afternoon.
A: Great. Do you mind if I talk with her about her school days for our presentation?
B: She would love that. Honestly, though, she sometimes says that my friends and I never sit still.
A: I feel the same way about my uncle's comments. He has never seen how long I practice the piano.
B: Exactly. Maybe hearing her stories will help both of us understand each other better.
A: Then let's write our questions tonight so that we use her time well.
B: Good plan. I'll send you my list after dinner.
명사를 뒤에서 꾸미는 pp 덩어리(a bus crowded with students)와 '~함에 따라'의 as(As the years passed, …)

When my grandmother was sixteen, her weekday began before sunrise, when she fed the chickens kept behind her house. She then walked for an hour along a road lined with rice fields to reach her school. In the evening, she helped her mother cook and studied by the light of a small lamp. My weekday begins at seven, and I ride a bus crowded with students who are still half asleep. After school, I attend a private academy and finish my homework late at night. As our conversation went on, I realized that both of us had worked hard in our own ways. As the world around us changed, the shape of a teenager's day changed with it, but the effort inside that day stayed the same.
