Dear new neighbors,

Welcome to our neighborhood! My name is Yeonseo, and I live next door to you in Apartment 1203. Here is a short guide for you.

There is a small park at the end of our street. In the middle of the park, there is a pond with many goldfish. Every morning, older people enjoy walking around the pond. My little brother likes counting the goldfish, but he never finishes counting them. They move too fast!

There are two bakeries near the bus stop. The one with the green door is my favorite. Its rice bread comes out of the oven at seven every morning. Go there early, because the bread is usually gone by nine. The shop is close to our building, but it closes early on Mondays.

Behind our building, there is a hill with a walking path. People enjoy watching the sunset from the wooden bench at the top. It takes about twenty minutes to get there. My dad and I go up every Sunday evening.

On the first Saturday of every month, there is a market in the park. Children sell their old toys and books there at low prices. Last month, I sold five comic books and bought a kite.

There is no big supermarket here, but the corner store has almost everything.

When you finish unpacking your boxes, please knock on our door. My mom wants to give you some homemade kimchi as a welcome gift.
