Day 1
This summer, I joined a small group that protects sea turtles on the east coast. On the first morning, our leader, Ms. Han, gave us a plan to follow. We had three jobs: clean the beach, watch the nests, and help injured turtles. The beach was covered with plastic bags and old nets. We filled nine big bags before lunch. The hard work made us tired, but it also made us proud.
Day 2
Today we had a chance to see a baby turtle for the first time. It was smaller than my hand. Ms. Han showed us the right way to hold it. Then we found an adult turtle with a hook in its mouth. A vet came to help, and the turtle was fine after an hour. Everyone cheered. That moment made me emotional.
Day 3
On the last day, we released three turtles into the sea. They moved slowly at first, and then they disappeared into the waves. I hope they will live long and come back to this beach someday. Ms. Han told us that only one baby turtle in a thousand grows up. That fact made me sad, but it also gave me a reason to keep working. I promised to come back next summer. Now I know that even a small group of students has the power to change something. The future of these turtles is in our hands.

- someday 언젠가 앞으로 올 어느 날. some day 로 띄어 쓰면 '어느 하루'.
- vet 수의사 동물을 치료하는 의사. veterinarian 을 줄인 말.
